Sign-in and security cookies
Authentication cookies keep you signed in and protect the sign-in flow. Some expire when a session ends; others last until their configured expiry or until you sign out or clear them. Disabling these cookies can stop account features from working.
Visitor identity
The vx_visitor cookie contains a random visitor identifier used to associate visits with saved visitor information. It has a 30-day lifetime when issued. It is separate from the name and links you may choose to add to a visitor card. Signed-in activity is associated with your account.
Local and session storage
Your browser can store avatar preferences, your last hall position, saved exhibitors, visitor-card drafts and booth design drafts. Local storage remains until you or the application remove it; session storage normally lasts for the browser tab’s session. These features let you continue work and avoid re-entering preferences.
Clearing browser storage can remove local drafts and break the link to anonymous visitor information. It does not delete server-side records. Contact us for help with deletion or access requests.
Optional analytics cookies
Optional analytics is off until you choose Allow analytics. The HTTP-only ee_usage cookie holds a signed random browser ID for up to 90 days; ee_usage_session holds a signed random session ID and coarse source/campaign codes and expires after 30 minutes without a measured event. Neither cookie is shared with another site. Analytics does not collect names, emails, raw URLs, preview tokens, raw network addresses or chat content.
The ee_usage_choice preference cookie remembers yes/no for 90 days. The signed ee_usage_exclude cookie prevents staff or test traffic from being measured for up to one year. These preference/exclusion cookies are used to enforce your choices. Reopen Privacy choices on any page to turn analytics off, clear analytics IDs and delete retained events for the current browser. DNT and GPC signals also prevent collection.
Third parties and your controls
Payment checkout and external websites may use their own cookies under their policies. ExpoEver does not use advertising or cross-site marketing tracking cookies. First-party usage measurement is optional and starts only after consent.
Use your browser’s privacy settings to view, delete or block cookies and storage. You can also deny or revoke microphone permission. Necessary features may not work when storage is blocked. For questions, email hello@expoever.com and read our Privacy Policy.
